Six months ago my daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Today, as she sat putting her bundle of joy to sleep, she looked over at me an said, "Can you believe I have a baby?" Six months after she gave birth, she still finds it hard to believe she's a mother.
Isn't that often how we feel about the blessings God grants us? Minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and even years later we sit in amazement of the blessings God allowed us to have. They are mind blowing and if you're like me, you talk about, think about them often.
I remember, as a young driver, God forewarning me about pulling out into traffic when the light was green for me to go. My yielding to the Holy Spirit saved my life. I remember at the birth of my fourth child, hearing my son speaking with God and the God telling him, "Your first breath is your first act of faith." I can go on and on and on. And with each one I remember I pause and think, "Can you believe God moved for me?"
What a blessing it is to recall how God has moved in your life and what a humbling experience each time you remember. It is like holding your child in your arms and saying, "Can you believe the blessings God has allowed me to have?"
Writing and observing are two of my favorite things to do. As I go along my day, I hope to share with you what I see or in some cases, what I hear.
